'Pencarmol' is a Grade II listed building overlooking the Elizabethan Harbour of Boscastle.
Parts of this former harbour master's house are thought to be between 300 and 400 years old, although the property offers - bed and breakfast accommodation - that is both modern and comfortable.
Internal features of the building include some of the original wood panelling in the dining room, guest lounge and bedrooms.
The house is actually - located on the coastal footpath - despite this, there is ample room for parking, one space for each bedroom.

Pencarmol Bed and Breakfast is a place in which you can relax - the atmosphere is very informal, warm and welcoming. There are beautiful walks over the cliffs to suit all abilities and a quarter of a mile away, a waterfall descends to the beach below. There is a beach at nearby Trevigue called 'Strangles' with breath-taking clifftop scenery, and well worth the climb! There are three bedrooms at the B&B, all of which have their own individual charm and wonderful panoramic views. Guests are welcome to use the pretty sitting room as a peaceful haven between - leisure activities - whilst on holiday. Outside, the terraced garden, with its patios and seating places, offers fine views of the harbour. Boscastle Harbour and its headlands are famous for their glorious sunsets. Owned by the National Trust since 1956, the area remains an unspoilt, tranquil haven. All of Cornwall is easily accessed from Boscastle, within a maximum of an hour and a half. The wildlife here is very special, with regular visits from seals, Basking sharks and dolphins.
